Drawing;  Yes, everyone can draw!

Deep down, everyone can draw, even those who say they can’t even draw a stick figure! The more one draws the better one gets.   Drawing can soothe the soul.  Experience the enjoyment of drawing and tap into the emotional expressiveness of putting pencil to paper.    Everyone could have something that makes them feel content and happy.  Maybe drawing is just that thing, and we don’t even know it.  Working from 3- dimensional objects or your own photographs and reference images, you will learn basic art concepts: space & form, composition, contour line, and shading to produce your unique representational image.

Supplies :  Drawing paper or tablet 9”x 12”or 11” x 14” or larger will be fine.
Graphite drawing pencils: HB, 2B or 4B suggested but a No. 2 pencil will do.  Charcoal or charcoal pencil Plastic (white) eraser and kneaded (gray) erasers
Optional: Conte or drawing sticks in black, gray, sepia, or brown
Optional: Your choice of color media, you may already have colored pencils, watercolor or pastels. (If you wish to bring watercolor paint, please bring a brush and paper specifically made to take water media for watercolor.)
**Bring Subject Matter of your own choosing or work from the provided still life material.
